Pricing

We will prepare a full set of detailed and dimensioned Construction Drawings for $1.50 per square foot of finished living area (main floor, upper floor, lower floor) plus the main floor garage area. Unfinished basements, decks, porches, etc. are not included in the calculation. A payment of 50% of the projected total will be collected upon delivery of the first main floor Preliminary Drawing (see How To Start for details).  The balance is due upon delivery of the Construction Drawings.

The Construction Drawings will consist of the following:

  • Floor Plan(s)
  • Basement/Foundation Plan
  • Elevations: Exterior view from each side of house
  • Details: Wall Section and Building Section(s) as required
  • Roof Plan
  • Site Plan as required
Many builders in our area prefer to prepare the electrical layout in a “walk-thru” with the owner and electrician at the completion of the framing stage.  If you or your builder desire electrical plan(s), we can prepare the drawing(s) for an additional 25 cents per square foot of finished living and main floor garage area.

8 sets of 24×36 “to scale” prints and a .pdf file of the complete plan are supplied for the listed fee.

We are always available to discuss any question or concern that arise for you, contractors, material vendors, lending institutions, or any other party involved in the bidding and construction process.

Master Drafters Design Service is not a licensed engineering or architectural firm in the state of Tennessee. Rarely in this region is a “professional stamp” required for permitting or construction. If your city or development require “stamped drawing”, we can help you obtain that service. The engineer or architect fee will be separate from our fee.
